I Used My Polychromos pencils to colour little dreamer and used my big shot with a die cut to create the flower shape to go along with the Flower theme.

 Naz Smith is the illustrator of these gorgeous images. 

This is Meg and Bubbly a perfect image for Easter.

I used my polychromos pencils to colour the image and used card from my card stock stash

I used the same image to colour these cute fairy cards .....I used my polychromos pencils again to colour them and of course it was a good excuse to get my glitter out to ! (love my glitter ha!) A perfect digi for birthdays, valentines, Christmas so much versatility with this image.

GDT - Julia Spiri

Good Morning

A few weeks ago before I became a DT for Julia Spiri I was asked to be a Guest DT

New Release Paris Collection Julia Spiri

Good Evening to you All

I have some exciting news .. I have joined the DT team for Julia Spiri and today is her new release of the Paris Collection

I have had  the wonderful opportunity to colour "Promenade Paris" and make it in to the card below:

I used my polychromos pencils by Faber Castell .. I always use a 300gsm card as I use lots of layers with the pencils and build up the colour.

 I brought the Sweet Paris Collection Paper by Dovecrafts a few weeks ago and was delighted that I had the chance to use it !... It goes perfect with Julia's Paris Collection

The sentiment "Sparkle its your birthday" is a clear stamp  by Penny Black Stamps and is called Sprinkles and Smiles

I coloured the image using my Polychromos Pencils adding white pearls to the centre of the flowers.  I think his is a fantastic image for Valentines, Anniversary's or Weddings.

The backing Paper is from Dovecrafts "Sweet Paris" 6x6 paper pack.

This weeks makes 31.01.16

Hello to you all and hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday :)

Well this week I have been busy mainly colouring .. along with attending my Occupational craft Class and Pottery Class so I thought I would share my makes with you.

2 years ago when my ADEM ( Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis) started .... unfortunately it effected my hands and I lost the ability to write ..I have come a long way and give thanks to my Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists for their encouragement and understanding.

My colouring and card making is not only a hobby but is great therapy too.

This is a water colour painting I am currently working on in my art and craft Occupational Therapy class at my local hospital .... I was over the moon that I had managed to draw the scene.

We have a new OT and she is inspiring me with her fabulous art knowledge and creativity too. 

I have been attending Occupational classes for a year now and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of them. I have been blessed to have made some wonderful friends and share our experiences and help each other along the way too.  

This is a cake stand I am currently making for my lovely Mom for Mothers Day - 6th March here in the UK .. so I hope I get it done in time HA!

I adore my pottery classes but this is my last project as I have improved and its time to let someone else have their time with this amazing class and helpers.

I will do a Blog post at some point of my pottery makes.

February 16 - BUTTONS AND BRADS - MY BESTIES UK

Good Morning and a very Happy Monday and February!!  

A new Month and over at My Besties UK today we have a new challenge for you to win some fabulous Digis from Sherri Baldys.

The theme this month is Buttons and Brads.

I have made 2 cards as part of my DT role and I must say I have really enjoyed colouring and making these cards.

The first card I made was using IMG667 and what a beauty she is.

Card Number 1 IMG667

I used my Polychromos Pencils by Faber Castell to colour image IMG667 

I adore this image and love the vintage feel to her.

I used some pink spotty card stock and red card to frame the image from my stash and added 2 heart buttons to the corners.

 Then I decided to pop 2 pearl gems on the top of each button.

I am really please how she turned out

I couldn't resit this beautiful Image from Sherri ... I am so blessed with some amazing friends and family and thought this is a perfect card for those special folk .... this time I used Best Friends .. but in the future I can maybe use it for sending hugs, thank you -I have so many ideas for this Image.

I started off by choosing my paper first from the Fist Editions Neroli card Pad ... I had purchased the coordinating buttons set previously... so I thought it was a must for the My Besties Uk Challenge of Buttons and Brads!

So I matched my pencils colours (the best I could) with the papers I had chosen.

I decided to go for the Blue hair and think it turned out ok - my first image with blue hair ha !!

I am a Design Team For All Dressed Up :0)

Good Morning All and A very Happy Sunday to you :)

Hope your weekend is going well.

Well last week I was lucky enough to join the "All Dressued Up" Stamps Design Team!!!

I am so overwhelmed as All Dressed Up  is truly one of my favourite Digi Images shops, over on Esty App Store and they are suitable, to make for cards and crafts projects. 

 I just Love them :)

Wendy Burns is the illustrator and they are just the cutest images. 

So here is my Card I have made as my Introduction DT :

Love Spring Time

I decided on this image as Spring is my favourite Season and is just around the corner here in the UK .. and I cant wait !!

 Hopefully my Garden with be full of colour with daffodils, tulips and other Spring plants and flowers.

 Just such a beautiful time of year everything growing and coming to life again.

I used my Polychromos Pencils by Faber Castell to colour her and the butterflies.

The backing paper is a old card stock and I cant even remember the name of it.... but I just love the yellow butterflies and thought it went well with this image.

January's Same But Different - My Besties UK DT

Where did the weekend go ?! cant believe its Monday again.

Well its a good way to start a Monday as.... today over at My Besties UK we are have the "Same But Different" card posting ....with a chance for you to win the beautiful digi DT have used.

This is My card 

It's a gorgeous image and I so enjoyed colouring and making this card as my first for My Besties UK DT 

I used my Polychromos Pencils by Faber Castell and decided to colour her dress blue adding extra detail on the folds of her dress for depth.

I used card stock from my stash that I have had for years (we all have those papers in the back of a draw or folder and you just know one day..... it will be the right paper for the project or card Ha!)

Here she is before I added the glitter to here wings .... she's such a beautiful image.

I am getting used to 'Blogging' and I wished I had found it sooner !

I am disabled and spend a lot of time colouring in bed and resting due to my illness.. (but on a better day I may be able to get in to my craft room for a short period of time to make a card)  ..... social media has been a link to the outside world for me over the 2 years and now becoming a blogger myself and looking at many other blogs...... Its opened yet another world for me. 

So I appreciate that you have taken the time to view my colouring and cards.

Apart from colouring Digis and Stamps... I also enjoy colouring books .. especially Johanna Basford ..Secret Garden, Enchanted Forest and Lost Ocean.... they are her wonderful illustrations that you can colour and bring them to life, with your own personal style.

I am hoping to do a blog very soon about these colouring books and some of my own creations including tips and tutorials.

So this week I have not yet be able to get in to my craft room..... so I have sat in bed colouring the following Digi Images

I coloured this with my 120 set of Polychromos Pencils and used a White gel roll pen for her buttons and the white spots on her hair ribbon.

ALL DRESSED UP - Hippie Chick

This gorgeous  image from Wendy Burns is one of my favourites ... I adore butterflies so I guess that's why its a personal favourite of mine :0) ...... Although I wasn't to sure on the yellow background .. I tried to create the warmth of the sun.... (In the UK its Winter and I was craving the warmth ha!) I used my Polychromos pencils yet again to colour this little hippie chick.

I have made this card for a friends granddaughter who will be 9 next month and loves the colour pink and all things girlie ... again I used my Polychromas Pencils and I will be adding glitter to her skirt for that extra bit of sparkle.  This digi from All Dressed Up has 4 images.... firstly three party girls ...and then each girl is on a separate digi ,,, love them :0)

All Dressed Up Digi Image 'Party Frock' Card

All Dressed Up Digi Image 'Party Frock' Card 

Good evening to you all 

Thought I would share with you how I made this  card

using ALL DRESSED UP Digi Image 'PARTY FROCK' from Etsy

I mainly use Polychromos Pencils By Faber Castell - they are oil based pencils and I find 

they give a very smooth finish to my pictures.

I generally use the following pencils for my skin shades

I always start off light with Light Fresh 9201-132 and build up in the shaded areas with each darker tone pencil and only using 9201-130 for the cheek area.

Next I decided the dress would be blue and I used the following shades:

I started with the lightest colour first - grey 1 9201-230

Then added Sky Blue 9201-146

 Then I took  Black 9201-199 and added the darkest shaded areas to the dress.

Once I had added the black I used Blue 9201-146 over the top of the black to create the definition to the dress.

When I was happy with the shading I added My Blending Solution with a stub in a downwards movement pulling the dark to light - creating a smoother finish.

 

Then I moved on to the hair - and used the following colours :

Starting with the lightest 9201-185 and building up to black 9201-199

I always like to ground my digis and add a grey background - I used the following for this:

The Paper I decided to use is by 

Docrafts Papermania The Capsule Collection - 

Parisienne Blue on a white pearl card. 

I added clear diamond stones for her earing and added a larger one to the bow.

 Hope this has been of help and you have enjoyed seeing the creation of this card.
